MCAT: “Dan is second-to-none. He is awesome!!!”
With Dan's help, I increased my score on the SAT by almost 100 points to 2380, which helped me get into Rutgers on a full-ride scholarship. While studying pre-med, I continued to meet with Dan while I prepared for the MCAT. Studying the Chemical and Physical Sciences section, my weakest section, enabled me to achieve a top score in the 95th percentile. Thanks to Dan's role in making me a competitive candidate through so many stages of my education, I am now a first-year MD-PhD student at Ohio State University, a top-ranked medical school. Dan's strengths lie in his ability to break down complex topics into easier-to-understand pieces. As a tutor, Dan is endlessly encouraging and attentive. His open communication meant that it was always easy to schedule an appointment, even 2-3 days ahead of time. Dan follows up with students even months later during exam score release, showing that he is still thinking of his students after formal tutoring sessions end. For anyone seeking to improve their grades and get ahead of the pack in school, Dan is second-to-none. He is awesome!!!

MCAT: “Excellent and reliable tutor!”
Dan tutored me specifically for the MCAT physical sciences section, and is incredibly knowledgeable with both the physics and general chemistry content of the exam. I usually had to let him know only 2-3 days in advance that I wanted to meet, and he made sure that we could meet when it was convenient for the both of us. Dan completely taught me physics in a way that I could understand and make sense of, especially for the difficult MCAT exam. I became able to do the difficult questions on my own, and even when I was back at college in Massachusetts, I was able to e-mail him with questions and rely on him for answers. Dan helped me improve a great amount in the physical sciences section of the MCAT, and I highly highly recommend him as a tutor in the sciences, as well as a tutor for the SAT exam.

College STEM Study Method: “Great academic coaching”
Thanks to you and your guidance, I finished my undergrad in the top 10% of my class and I am currently continuing my education at the RUTGERS-SHP Dietetic Internship program (only 6 RU students selected out of 100!!). It is a lot of hard work, but I carry with me the tools that you provided so the course work is a BREEZE! For 15 years, I tried to find a study method that worked for me, but each new method failure until I met you. You taught me the correct way to study and it has been success ever since!

AP Physics (online/inperson hybrid): “Excellent tutor”
Daniel is tutoring my son for AP physics exam using "hybrid tutoring (ie, in-person 1-to-1 sessions at first, followed by efficient online 1-to-1 sessions, with in-person 1-to-1 sessions still available)". Originally, I had made arrangement through Princeton review private tutor for unbelievable high price. I am very happy that I made right choice by choosing Daniel over Princeton review . Our 90% saving on tuition price was bonus on top of five star tutoring. I will continue to set up lesson with Daniel in future. Best tutor and will be glad to recommend him to students.

BTW, in case you are uncomfortable with my hybrid Online/InPerson tutoring format, here is an AP Physics student whom I tutored completely in-person.
AP Physics (in-person only): “Great tutor”
Daniel is the AP physics tutor for my daughter which is a Junior in High school. She was going to drop the class as many of her honor students class mates did, but after starting tutoring with Daniel she is getting top grades. Daniel is an outstanding academic in this field, but what sets him apart from the rest of tutors is his teaching methodology: -Dan makes sure that the student masters the basic key concepts of the subject, which builds a strong understanding of the material. -He teaches her how to approach studying and problem solving, which enables her not only in AP physics but all subjects areas as well. -Daniel is available with online consults, for any last minute before test questions and follows up with in person sessions, with great flexibility. -He personally follows up almost on daily basis about the student's progress and grades, by keeping a continuous communication with the parents. I can't wish for a better tutor and highly, highly recommend him.

AP Chemistry: “Effective and Helpful Tutor”
Daniel has been my tutor for both AP Physics and AP Chemistry. He is a patient and knowledgeable tutor who is focused on how to study, through the recursive method, rather than just course material. He is also very responsive to messages online and flexible with his time. He sincerely cares about how his students do and always gives feedback to his students and their parents. He also followed up with my on my AP scores, showing that even months after I last saw him he still thought about my progress. It is with his help that I got a 5 and an A in AP Chemistry, a course I struggled in, this year.

HS Honors Physics: “Very knowledgeable and wonderful tutor!”
I would like to very highly recommend Daniel! My son is currently taking Honors Physics and was having a tough time grasping the material despite studying very hard and communicating with his teacher. Feel so fortunate that I connected with Daniel and he has an amazing way of explaining the material to the students and more importantly teach them techniques that helps them in studying independently. My son's grade in the test jumped from 69 to 96 after only one session! Hope he can continue this winning streak for the rest of the year and he now actually looks forward to studying Physics :) Thanks Daniel!

HS Honors Chemistry: “Patient and knowledgeable tutor”
Daniel is my son's chemistry tutor and he is great! He explains everything really well and my son has a much deeper understanding of the concepts he was not able to grasp in his class at school. My son feels a lot more confident and his grade improved in just a few lessons.
Danielle
ACT (all subjects): “Helpful and Knowledgeable Tutor”

SAT Math: “Daniel is an amazing, responsive, hands-on tutor”
We have been through a lot of tutors both between my 17 year old who Daniel is tutoring for the SAT's (mainly math which is not her strong point) and with my older daughter. I have to say, as a mother, that Daniel has been amazing. He consistently reaches out beyond actual tutoring sessions to make sure my daughter is on track. He literally was on a biking marathon and stopped every break to check in on her during a sample test. Daniel has a light and airy way about him that relaxes my daughter and allows difficult obstacles to transform to simpler ways of her to view them. In addition, he is always available via email/text/or zoom when extra help is needed. While our main goal is to help my daughter prepare for the SAT's, Daniel is also helping her with her math moving forward into her senior year of high school and beyond. We highly recommend Daniel as a tutor!!

SAT Verbal
taught in-person for college-prep firm over Summer 2011-2016 in Shenzhen (China), but now taught online for a virtual school in Georgia
I think your class really helped me through the time when I stuck and stopped improving. Your class provided me another way of thinking, which brought some room for improvement. Your skills were not like those on other books, which would be impractical. Your skills were applicable and useful.
